Profile and Settings - WriterzRoom

Settings holds the defaults and controls that apply to your own account: identity, sign-in security, writing defaults, API access, and plan. Organization-wide controls such as team membership and reviewer qualifications are managed in Workspace. Each section saves independently, and a failed save keeps your edits for correction rather than discarding them. Every section has its own address (for example /settings?tab=security) that can be bookmarked or shared.

Account

Section	What it controls
Profile	Display name, bio, company, job title, language, and time zone. Email is managed by your sign-in provider and cannot be edited here.
Security	Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app: set up, generate new backup codes, or turn it off with a current code. Signed-in devices, with Sign out per device or Sign out all others.
Notifications	Email notifications, browser notifications, and product updates, each on or off.
Appearance	WriterzRoom, Dark, Light, or System theme. Applies immediately.

Backup codes and a newly generated API key are shown once. Store them before confirming; neither can be displayed again.

Writing defaults

Section	What it controls
Workflow defaults	Starting tier (with its credit cost), maximum output length, automatic backup frequency, creativity, and whether drafts save automatically. Studio can change any of these for a single run.
Brand voice	Your saved voice profiles with tone, voice, and creation date; delete a profile, or open Brand Voice to analyze new writing.
Corpus & verticals	The industries whose sources and constraints research should favor.

Connections

Section	What it controls
Publishing destinations	Opens Integrations, the single place to connect and manage publishing providers. See Publishing.
API access	Generate, name, and revoke API keys; copy your user ID and an example request. Creating and using keys requires Professional or Enterprise access; existing keys stay listed so you can revoke them after a plan change.

Plan & data

Section	What it controls
Billing	Current plan, credit usage and balance, billing cycle, and upgrade options.
Usage & analytics	Opens Analytics for generations, words produced, success rate, and average generation time over 7, 30, or 90 days.
Data & account	Your account ID, email, role, and plan; Download my data exports content, templates, style profiles, usage, and subscription as JSON; and account deletion.

Deleting your account

Export what you want to keep

Select Download my data under Data & account. Content cannot be recovered after deletion.

Request deletion

Select Delete account and type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion completes

Active subscriptions are cancelled before the account is removed.

You can also request deletion by contacting support@writerzroom.com. Requests are processed within 30 days.

Resetting a password

Select Forgot your password? when signing in and enter your account email. The reset link is valid for 1 hour. If you signed up with Google, your account does not have a password. Use Continue with Google to sign in.
