Verticals are the first selection in the generation flow. Choosing a vertical scopes the entire pipeline to your industry: it filters available templates and style profiles, directs corpus RAG retrieval to domain-specific sources, and activates compliance rules, terminology standards, and required disclaimers. Vertical selection is Step 1 of every generation. Template and style profile selection follow from it.

What Verticals Control

Selecting a vertical affects the generation pipeline in four ways: Template filtering: Only templates compatible with the vertical are shown. Incompatible formats are hidden. Style profile filtering: Only style profiles allowed within the vertical are shown, ranked by compatibility with the selected template. Corpus RAG scoping: Research retrieval queries the vertical’s domain-specific corpus chunk pool, improving source relevance and reducing cross-domain noise. Agent overrides: Each vertical applies per-agent instructions: source requirements for the researcher, terminology enforcement for the writer, validation rules for the editor, and any mandatory compliance disclaimers.
