Three templates cover long-form editorial writing. They differ in what the reader is meant to take away: practical understanding, a single argued position, or a reported finding.

Each template’s contract, as configured. Studio names any required input still missing before a run starts. The word range is checked by the editor on Standard and Premium, and the Quality Gate records which required sections it found at every tier; a shortfall in either is recorded in the document’s quality report and does not block publication on its own.

Inputs that change the result

  • A concrete claim or finding. Openings follow the evidence supplied. Without a decision, finding, or defensible claim to start from, the draft opens on the topic in general terms.
  • Source files. Upload Markdown or other supported files when the piece depends on specific material. Distinguish achieved results from estimates or plans in the brief; the draft keeps that distinction, and missing evidence stays visibly missing rather than being filled in.
  • Scene detail only when it is sourced. A scene-setting lead is used when attributable reporting supports its details. Otherwise the piece opens on the documented finding.

What the final prose check does

Before completion, the draft is checked for stock scenes and narrator padding, such as an invented writer at a desk or a late-night timestamp in nonfiction. A finding earns one directed revision; a defect that survives it blocks completion. Quoted examples and fenced code are excluded.

Limits

  • The prose check targets specific patterns. It does not establish that a document is human-authored or that its claims are supported.
  • SEO support covers search intent, metadata, and keywords. It applies no keyword-density band, and a readability score is a heuristic, not an editorial judgement.
  • Factual and technical claims need review before publication.
